Calling all non-perfect Catholic Christians. All the ones who maybe know they should pray, but don’t feel like they’re any good at it. Or know they should pray but don’t make it a priority. Who know they should go to Mass weekly but also kinda don’t see the point, or maybe don’t “get anything” out of the readings or mass – you know, just feel like you’re just checking a box when you attend mass. This post is for you.
I’ve been there, I’ve felt that spiritual drought. Sometimes you question if there even is a God or you’re mad at Him, like REALLY mad (gasp!! what??… it’s okay, we’ve all been there). I’ve felt like my prayers were me talking to air, that mass was just going through the motions, that Lent was just a time when I should give up soda as a self discipline.
Well, friend – I’m here to tell you that your relationship with God and this Lenten season can be so so so much more than walking through the motions and giving up chocolate, or chips, or soda. That you can grow in faith, feel more productive in prayer, and actually get something spiritually fruitful out of mass and this season of Lent. Really.. you can. I promise!
I promise so much that I created a… drumroll.. FREE Let’s Rock Lent Journal (in downloadable PDF format) as well as a support/accountability group AND weekly email (every Sunday) for the duration of Lent! It’s all FREE. Its all what I feel God has put on my heart to do.
The journal is yours to print and put in a binder or notebook or even send off to an office store to have bound for a couple bucks. It will have some guidance, directions for using the journal and each day will have a very, very short scripture passage for you to read, think about, and act on as well as a spot for some things you’re praying to God about and things you’re thankful to Him for as well.
I’ve put my heart and soul into this (and skipped some 3rd trimester, pregnant with twins, naps for) so that I might be able to help some of other “non-perfect” people (like me) grow closer to God.
**Newsflash** No one is a perfect Christian/Catholic. No one. I’m using that “non-perfect” term to be playful. The only perfect humans on this earth were and always will be Jesus and his Mama… but, I digress**
All you need to do is sign up by putting your name and email below and wait for your welcome email that has your free PDF Let’s Rock Lent journal and invite to the Facebook group!
Oh and spread this baby far and WIDE. Invite your friends, invite your family, invite your people you know who maybe have lost faith, have had trials and issues with God, invite those people. Spread the free love!
